Permanent Residency

Permanent residence in Quebec

You can obtain your Canadian permanent residency, more specifically through the province of Quebec, by applying to one of our many programs. Besides all our programs issued to skilled workers and students, we are currently offering three other pilot programs until January 1st, 2026.
To be eligible for the Quebec Experience Program (PEQ) in the skilled worker stream, you must prove that you can legally work in Quebec, have legally acquired full-time work experience in Quebec and got paid for at least 24 of the 36 last months before submitting your application. If you were staying in Quebec on July 21st, 2020 and were authorized to work in Canada during that day, you may be eligible to apply and get selected for a permanent selection status according to previous program requirements. Get in touch with us to learn more about your eligibility.
Only some diplomas obtained in Quebec give access to a permanent selection for this stream.

If you hold a bachelor’s degree, master’s, MBA, doctorate’s, DEC, DEP of at least 1,800 hours, or DEP with an Attestation of Vocational Specialisation of at least 1,800 hours leading to a specific field, you may be eligible to apply for a permanent selection status.

To do so, you must prove that you obtained your diploma in a full-time study program in a Quebec learning institution within the last 36 months. You must also demonstrate that you have acquired full-time work experience after your studies. Although they may vary depending on your degree, the conditions and duration of your work experience can only apply to specific fields and last from 12 to 18 months. If your program ended on or before December 31st, 2020, you may be eligible for a permanent selection under the previous program requirements. Contact us to learn more about your eligibility.
The Regular Skilled Worker Program has been built for people who want to work and immigrate permanently to Quebec, and can not qualify for the Quebec Experience Program. However, to be eligible for this program, your profile has to meet some criteria needed in Quebec, such as:

– Your educational level and training area;
– Your work experience;
– Your English and French language proficiency;
– Your age;
– Your stays in Quebec;
– The characteristics of your spouse;
– The presence of children;
– If you currently have a job offer approved by the Ministry of Immigration, Frenchisation and Integration.

If your profile matches the Quebec criteria, you should receive an invitation to present a permanent selection in Quebec that will allow you to apply for a permanent residency in Canada.

To make a permanent selection application, you must prove that you have legally worked and gotten paid occupying full-time employment in the agri-food sector in Quebec, and so, for 24 of the 36 last months.

Only 550 candidates, including members of their families, are selected for this program each year.
This program is comprised of two streams: orderly workers and orderly students of the province of Quebec. To be admitted, no matter the stream, you must meet certain conditions, such as your stays in Quebec and Canada, age, educational level, proficiency in spoken French, knowledge of the Quebec values, and financial resources. Only 550 candidates, including members of their families, are selected for this program each year.
The first stream is regarding workers with orderly diplomas obtained outside of the province of Quebec. The second stream is regarding workers who achieved the Institutional and Home Care Assistance Program (870 hours of continuing education) and obtained a Professional Studies Diploma (DEP) in Quebec in the orderly field in the last 24 months following the application. For submitting a permanent selection application in this stream, you must be able to demonstrate that you have legally worked in Quebec and gotten paid full-time as an attendant or orderly for at least 12 of the 24 last months.
